Where does the light come from?
A front-lit mirror emits light through an illuminated area on the mirror face. Gloviea Front Glow + Backlit combines a frosted front border with a glow behind the mirror.
Backlit: a glow around the mirror
Backlit mirrors project light onto the wall to create a floating halo and atmosphere. The effect depends on wall color, nearby obstructions and existing lighting. Pair them with other bathroom lighting for washing, shaving or makeup.

Front Glow + Backlit: facial lighting and wall glow
Gloviea Front Glow + Backlit mirrors use bright LED lighting to illuminate the face while creating an ambient glow behind the mirror. They are suitable for everyday washing, shaving, and skincare. Combined with bathroom ceiling lights or other supplemental lighting, they can also be used for makeup application. Additional lighting needs depend on your bathroom’s layout, existing lighting, and personal preferences.

Dual Rear LED: dedicated makeup lighting and backlighting
Dual Rear LED uses two dedicated lighting systems behind the mirror: one provides facial illumination suitable for makeup and daily grooming, while the other creates ambient backlighting.
Expected arrival: mid-December 2026. Availability will be confirmed when the new models arrive.
Compare controls as well as the glow
Check the product page for dimming, 3000K/4000K/6000K color temperatures, anti-fog, motion sensing and memory. Features and control behavior should be confirmed for the chosen model.
Adjust brightness using the mirror’s own controls. Gloviea mirrors do not support a wall dimmer. A standard wall switch and a wall dimmer are different; follow the model’s manual when planning power and controls.
Plan installation before choosing a size
Check wall space, mounting orientation and the power connection position. Confirm whether your chosen model supports plug-in or hardwired installation, and follow its instructions and local requirements. For a hardwired installation, have a qualified electrician confirm the electrical setup.
